Leadership

King's Gate London is seeking to build a leadership team comprising of the five-fold gifting of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. We believe each person has a part to play in the body of Christ and seek to equip and release all the saints for ministry. With Jesus Christ as the head of King's Gate, our leadership team is currently made up of Pip & Sophie Earl, Richard & Luellen Mayhew and Jennifer O’Brien.

Collectively the team has experience of pastoring in the UK and the States, serving a wide range of evangelical denominational backgrounds.

jennifer o'brien

My background is in music where I trained as a violinist followed by a switch to law (!) which led to my enjoying a career as a lawyer in London's corporate world for some years. Throughout this time I have been a Christian but very much found my home when I joined King's Gate at it's inception particularly loving the commitment we have to enabling every member space to use their gifts in church life. My own particular passions are various - cultivating intimacy with God is my highest priority expressed in the prophetic, preaching/teaching, worship and prophetic evangelism. I am Irish to my core despite having lived in the UK for some years - my special treat on regular trips back to Ireland is to go to the Atlantic ocean near Cork winter or summer - it's so wild and exciting, just nothing like it!

Richard works as a commodities broker in the City and has been a leader at King’s Gate since its inception. Aside from bringing rich teaching and apostolic gifts to King’s Gate, he is an avid Chelsea fan!

luellen mayhew

I’m an American that has been transplanted to the UK through marrying my husband, Richard. We have been apart of King’s Gate from the very beginning and it has been one of the promises God has spoken to me about. Mother of 4 and have 2 beautiful grandchildren and I love my family and can be fiercely protective. Prophetic is my edge but I preach as well, sharing Christ and hosting gatherings too is my passion. Interior Design is like chicken soup to my soul!
